The Journal of Materials Engineering and Nanoscience (JMEN) is a quarterly published multidisciplinary research journal. It was founded in 2021 and reaches out to the materials science community worldwide. It is firmly peer reviewed and receives research articles, short communications and reviews written in English. The scope of the journal covers all major areas of Physics, Chemistry, Biosciences, Nanoscience, Materials and Mechanical engineering.
Journal of Materials Engineering and Nanoscience (JMEN) is a multi-disciplinary journal aimed to bring out innovative and advanced research across the entire field of Materials Science and Nanotechnology
It publishes papers of the highest quality and significance in all areas of Materials Science and Nanotechnology.
Our aim is to deliver quality work and access to its readers across various fields of materials science.
Divide the manuscript into the following sections: Title page, Structured Abstract, Keywords (3-6), Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgments, References. All portions of the manuscript must be typed in 1.5 line spacing and all the pages are numbered starting from the title page.
The titles should be concise and describes the main findings of your research. The Title Page should include the authors' full names and affiliations, the name of the corresponding author along with phone, fax and e-mail information. The corresponding author is responsible for all future communications and queries related to whole manuscript.
The Abstract should be informative and completely self-explanatory, briefly present the topic, state the scope of the experiments, indicate significant data, and point out major findings and conclusions. The abstract should be 100 to 250 words in length.
The graphical abstract is an optional. The graphical abstract should be informative and self-explanatory about the content of the article. The file can be a TIFF or JPEG image file or attached in the word document file
Figures should ideally be submitted in high-resolution TIFF format, or alternatively in GIF, PEG/JPG, or EPS format. All the figures are placed proximal to the text material of the manuscript with appropriate captions
Tables should be typed with double spacing and each should be on a separate sheet. They should be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals, and contain only horizontal lines. Provide a short descriptive heading above each table with footnotes and/or explanations underneath.
References can be in any style or format as long as the style is consistent. Where applicable, author(s) name(s), journal title/ book title, chapter title/article title, year of publication, volume number/book chapter and the article number or pagination must be present.
The received manuscripts will be reviewed by a panel of experts and the comments will be intimated to the author(s). The manuscripts will be published only after the corrections are incorporated.
Submissions of reviews and perspectives covering topics of current interest are welcome and encouraged. Reviews should be concise and no longer than 4-6 printed pages (about 12 to 18 manuscript pages). Review manuscripts are also peer-reviewed. It also focuses on current advancements in the given field.
Editors and reviewers are expected to treat articles they handle confidentially. Editors and reviewers must not disclose information about manuscripts (including their receipt, content, status in the publishing process, reviewer feedback and final decision) to anyone. They should not use knowledge of the work before its publication to further their own interests. Reviewers also have the right to confidentiality; they will remain anonymous to authors (unless they choose to waive their anonymity) and readers and their comments will not be published.
In situations where a reviewer wishes to co-review an article with a junior member of their laboratory, they must abide by the same rules of confidentiality and publishing ethics, and be named as a co-reviewer on submission of the review to the journal. Sharing manuscript details with lab members as a whole or with colleagues outside of the lab is not permitted.
OP endorses ORCID and requires that all corresponding authors provide an ORCID iD when submitting a manuscript. We encourage coauthors to register and use their ORCID as well. We publish the corresponding author's ORCID iD as well as any ORCIDs provided by coauthors if the manuscript is accepted. We participate in the auto-update feature implemented by Crossref such that when a paper is published, the author's ORCIDs are deposited and subsequently used to update each author's ORCID record.
The contributions of all authors must be described. The submitting author is responsible for providing the contributions of all authors at submission. We expect that all authors will have reviewed, discussed, and agreed to their individual contributions ahead of this time. Contributions will be published with the final article, and they should accurately reflect contributions to the work.
Plagiarism, copying text, figures or results from any other sources, is unethical behavior and cannot be tolerated in this journal. All the submitted manuscripts will be checked using the Turnitin for originality.
All manuscripts are sent to two independent expert reviewers to assess the quality of the paper. The handling Editor is responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance/rejection/resubmission of articles. The plagiarism must be less than 15%
